3-11-2010 Flagstaff to Sedona to Jerome to Prescott Valley, AZ

We woke up this morning to a beautiful sun shine day in Flagstaff. After eating breakfast and loading up the car we headed down highway 89A to Sedona. What a beautiful drive it was this morning with the snow on the trees and over the rock. Emily, the trees with the snow on the side reminded me of you making the following comment when you were a little girl. We were driving out of Medford and it had just snowed and there was snow on the side of the trees. You said you were hungry because the trees reminded you of the pretzels that mom makes at Christmas - she also puts white frosting on them.

We did a little site seeing on our way to Jerome and once we got to Jerome we walked all around the unique little town and went in and out of all the shops there. It was such a sunny beautiful day so you could see for miles.

We are staying at a Days Inn in Prescott Valley this evening. For supper we drove down to Prescott and ended up relaxing at the "Palace" saloon. This was a saloon that Dick, Lynn, Paula, Larry and John and I went to when we were in Arizona several years ago.

We will probably spend tomorrow (hopefully biking) and tomorrow evening in Prescott Valley and then head to Wickenburg on Saturday morning to spend the day and evening with Lynn and Dick.

Happy Trails!
